Final Pub Crawl

beer

After all is said and done I have chosen my favorite one.

  • As you know for the past couple months I have been shooting my drinking expertise to all the Brits out there in the South Florida area, and today I have made my decision as to which one I prefer over them all!
  • KINGSHEAD PUB POMPANO:

I tried to find a place that I enjoyed, and as there were a few different options, nothing did it like this one. I have built a relationship with the bar maids and its all in all my top choice.

The food is always consistent, fish and chips and traditional dishes from the UK. This place also means more to me because it is a place me and my father bond at. He is a regular there and we can go there and get away from it all, have a beer, watch a game or 2.

Some of the other pubs I went to did have more of an atmosphere but sometimes its just the welcoming feeling that makes you want to come back. Here is the website, check it out for yourselves sometime if your in the area! Keep up the good work !!

The lighter side of a 3-0 win Vs Man U

thfc

3 GOALS 6 MINUTES. ENOUGH SAID

  • MATCH REPORT
  • Here’s to the Tottenham boys making all the noise. Spurs boss was full of praise after that one
  • Wimmer has done a terrific job at the back, but nothing better than having Jan back there today. He really solidify’s the defense. He seemed happy to be back as well
  • I was very concerned we were staring at a 1-0 loss or a 0-0 draw for most of the game and that would of really shell shocked the title hopes, especially after that win by the foxes. ( They don’t know how to lose)
  • Must give credit where it is due to Fosu-Mensah, kid kept the back 4 tight for red devils most of the game and was their man of the match in most people’s eyes.
  • Eric Dier is a beast in the midfield and plays his heart out, although he states this one thing does not hold him back
  • Very strange game, felt like no matter how many chances we had, nothing was going to go in. Until that magical 6 minutes where we were able to score 3 quick goals. The lane was loud, the away team was slumped. It was incredible!
  • Dele and Eric felt the same way as I did after the match
  • All together a great team win. Really think we have our work out to keep pace ( still 7 back) But as you know I keep the faith.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE:

– In case anyone was worried about Dele Alli’s love life, read away

Poch loves the club, we love him. Its a great thing

– I figured he would be happy to leave, at least to get more action on the pitch. Seems I was right. Good for ya Andros!

– Last but not least , Ranieri is back at it again with the mind games

STOKE ON MONDAY, 3 POINTS IN MY MIND

Spurs title hopes take hit at Anfield

t v lvpool

Beautiful fight to the finish from Spurs, but we still drop 7 points from the top

  • Valiant effort from the lads but we needed 3 points in such a dire game as this one.
  • Match Report
  • Coutinho’s play was superb as usual and his 51 min goal almost had me thinking that was it in regards to the title hopes, luckily Super Harry Kane was able to tie it and we salvaged a point. He was even praised by Jurgen Klopp after the match.
  • I was super upset by the loss but I still have hope as we managed to fight and stay in the match, better than putting heads down and not engaging for the win. I thought we still had some chances to win this one.
  • Poch still had mad love for the lads after the match. Gotta love this guy!
  • I think that This will most likely be Wimmer’s last start as Vertonghen seems to be back to normal health, might see him against Man U
  • As I said, it could of been worse and we could of lost, but Harry Kane and I seem to be on the same page regarding the result.
  • The foxes win 1-0 ( AGAIN) and keep 7 points clear. Big match next week for both of us.

ON A LIGHTER NOTE:

  • Love for the Tottenham fans coming from Eric Dier. Iv’e been to the lane and the fans are electric, well deserved.
  • New deals  for 3 big Spurs aces. I like this as it means we are looking for more of the same in the future.
  • This is one of the cooler articles I have this post, Nothing like being praised by a legend, especially one you always looked up to. Congrats Alli!

MAN U AT THE LANE

I AM READY, ARE YOU?

International Break: THFC

3 lions

International break. For some its time for rest, for most of the Spurs team its time to face Germany & Netherlands. Lets see if the lads were up to the task!

  • If you didn’t see it, the Germany friendly was fantastic. Even better was the fact that we won 3-2 on a comeback win in Germany. The best part was that Harry Kane got the scoring started, and Eric Dier was able to head home the winning goal late! If your a Tottenham fan that’s what you like to see from your guys when they put the 3 lions on their chest!
  • Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker, Harry Kane all getting the call up for England. Alli speaks about looking out for one another on duty.
  • Unfortunately the game was a little different vs Netherlands. The Tottenham boys didnt see much action until we were trailing late in the game.2-1 loss at Wembley which seems to be a pretty good spot for the Three Lions. Not this day.
  • As a Tottenham fan I must say I was very impressed by the way our boys looked out, got to credit Daniel Levy for putting this team Spurs team in line and also getting 5 of them called up for duty. Very incredible to me!

-Really great article here about how the Tottenham boys brought back life to England team  ahead of EURO2016.

Just what we expected when you start to do the well, the big boys come calling. Madrid in for Alli while Spurs double Kanes wages to fend off outsiders

LIVERPOOL NEXT WEEK FOR THFC, HUGE GAME !

5 things I learned from Spurs one sided win

Another beautiful home win at the lane for THFC! For once I could lay back and enjoy it. Here’s 5 thoughts on the match:

  1. We scored right off the bat and that was a huge thing for the team. We seemed to shell shock Bournemouth right away and that ultimately put this game away before it started. Match report
  2.  Great article I found here written by Bleacher Report. Gives me certain reason to believe that we are the team that can win this title. I also saw shades of it in today’s match
  3. For the first time in a while we have such a flexibility with the team, we can put so many different attacking combos together and this is helping us. Team depth has been great too with anyone coming on making an impact.
  4. Erik Lamela finally reached 100 games at the club. When he came to the team he was our highest paid transfer ever and had to fill Gareth Bale’s old cleats ( not an easy task). It didn’t happen right off the bat and we thought he was destined to fail. I must say the strides he has made and the love he shows for the club are awesome. Keep looking for him to improve.
  5. We now have some tough games coming up, with Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea looming. We must get points from these games so we continue the push to the top!

On a lighter note:

Liverpool away next week. #COYS

Spurs fire back at Villa

kane

Harry Kane double keeps us right in the thick of things! Here are my thoughts :

  • This is where it all started for Harry Kane, relive the magic
  • Was nice to get back in the win column, Villa are nothing to boast nor brag about but we dominated the game and did what we had too.
  • Match Report
  • Harry Kane has been everything we could ask for all year long. He is no fluke, he is a prime striker the Spurs have been waiting on for years now.He is also warning fans to not panic over title run.
  • Dele Alli set up both goals and continues to shine as a 19 year old. David Ginola seems to think so as well.
  • The form is good, we just need to keep focused and play each game like its a cup final!

On a lighter note :

Whats next:

  • We have to play Bournemouth, not the easiest of match-ups but definitely a must win for the squad. I expect us to win 3-1. My next blog post will have the scoop!

KEEP THE FAITH!

5 things I learned from THFC Europa performances

chadli.jpg

Was it the weak team that Poch fielded or just the fact that Spurs weren’t good enough?

The Europa League ended with a bang in the last couple weeks as our boys were beaten 3-0 In the 1st leg and 2-1 in the 2nd leg to see us out of the tourney. It wasn’t the best display of Spurs football these past 2 matches.

Here’s what I noticed:

  1. Poch messed up by going to Germany and fielding such a weak team in Dortmund. Everyone makes mistakes, and I understand we wanted to rest some of our top talent for the weekend trip to Villa but my lord. I feel this move might have shot some of the confidence in players such as Onamah and Carroll.

  2. Regardless of who we put out there ( as we fielded a much better side for the 2nd leg) we weren’t going to beat this team anyway. They are flawless and it shows that maybe we aren’t ready for the top competition that Europe has to offer.

  3. I really thought that Nabil Bentaleb was going to be given a chance to play in the 2nd leg already down 3-0. Instead Poch didn’t even include him on the bench, going with all the youth players instead.

  4. Poch’s thoughts on the 1st leg basically sum this one up

  5. I still see the bright side to being viciously beaten out of the tourney. We are now able to focus on the league and the next 8 matches. We have just a good a shot as anyone to win the league and that’s what matters most. Best of luck to the lads

On a lighter note:

-8 matches left. Poch has given the challenge to win them all. Ball is in the players court now.

London Derby Part II: Arsenal

Tottenham-v-ArsenalBeing called one the biggest games ever between the two clubs, we were in for a treat.

Here’s what we learned:

  • In a match that saw  Francis Coquelin sent off in the second half I think we could have done a bit better
  • We looked a bit flat in the first half but managed to pull it together and even take a 2-1 lead at one point!
  • MATCH REPORT
  • As do I, Toby Alderweireld felt the draw was a bit of a let down.
  • At the end of the day we should of held on to the lead, especially at home and up a man.
  • Alexis Sanchez’s goal came out of no where and felt like a shot to the heart. I really thought we were going to hold on to this one.
  • Poch still feels the players deserve credit as does THFC striker Harry Kane saying he feels the lads will “bounce back”.
  • At the end of the day I think a draw is fair and now we look to continue the unbeaten streak against Dortmund in the Europa League.

Some fun facts:

Whats next?:

  • We travel to Germany to take on Dortmund in Europa league which should be a hell of a match.
  • Will be interesting to see what type of team Poch puts out there!

London Derby Part 1: West Ham

lamela

This was the mood for Spurs fans at Upton Park as a dodgy pitch and a shakier spurs side lost 1-0 to the hammers

Here’s what we learned :

  • The 1st half of the match might have been one of the worst we have seen all year. After 7 min we were down 1-0 and it didn’t get much better from then on. Its a big week for the lads and this was not the start we were looking for. Match report
  • West Ham used the long ball to perfection, it seemed to really give us problems at the back. Hopefully that isn’t a sign of things to come.
  • Very sloppy play from our guys. The pitch wasn’t the greatest but that is still no excuse! Missed passes, horrible 1st touches, it all added up throughout the game. Not the spurs we have been used to seeing through the 6 match win streak (which was obviously snapped).

Quote of the match :

“We need to be positive,” he said. “Why not? There, in the changing room, you could see the players very disappointed. The way they fought in the second half was fantastic. It only lacked a goal.”-MP

More of Poch’s thoughts

Teams Thoughts

Whats next:

Luckily we didn’t take too much of a hit with Arsenal, Man City losing and Leicester taking a tie. London Derby continues this week as we host in city rivals Arsenal. Big match and we could use the 3 points!! Luckily Peter Cech is out for Arsenal but as a Spurs fan that means there backup keeper (Ospina) will probably have the game of his life.

Comeback Kings at it again

SPURS V SWANSEA

25684C6D00000578-2943051-image-a-7_1423250047506

Before the match against Swansea, the lads only had full praise on the teams accomplishments thus far. Hugo Lloris was one of them.

HERE’S WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THE MATCH:

  • Before I start, I must give full praise to Swansea keeper Lukasz Fabianski who handled 34 shots on this day, he seemed to be the only one who was hoping to win this match. Sorry Lukasz.
  • We stormed back once again, down 1-0 at half and finally getting the draw when 2nd half sub Nacer Chadli gave us a goal.
  • One of my main men Danny Rose was rewarded for his tenacity and gave us the goal to send us back up to second thanks to an Arsenal loss.
  • My moment of the match, love the support from our fans.
  • The never say die attitude is great, we never falter when we are down, the resiliency of the lads is awesome. It was a great day to be a Spurs fan!!
  • Once again, another Spurs player praising the team after the win.

Odd moment: Not sure if this was a tactical move by Claudio Ranieri or a mind game. Either way it was humorous to me. Trying to put pressure on all the other teams is how I see it

Up next: Big Big game at West Ham, they are a good team sitting in 6th place. Will be interesting to see what type of team Poch puts out there. Either way we wish the best of luck to the team.
